SHIPPING POLICY

Shipping Policy

1. General Shipping Information

StudioDesk products are shipped using professional tracked freight and courier services due to their size, weight, and handling requirements.

Shipping costs are calculated during checkout unless otherwise stated.


2. Free Shipping Offers

European Union

Shipping is free for all orders over €1,800 within the continental European Union (EU economic zone).
For orders below €1,800, shipping costs are calculated and displayed during checkout.

United States (Continental)

Shipping is free for all orders over $2,000 within the continental United States, unless otherwise stated.

Shipping to other countries is calculated during checkout or quoted separately where required.


3. Stock Availability & Order Processing

If a product can be added to the cart, it is considered in stock unless clearly marked otherwise.

In-Stock Items

If an item is in stock, shipping is organized within:

  • 2–7 business days for EU orders

  • 2–7 business days for items stocked in the USA warehouse

Pre-Order Items

Products marked “Pre-Order” are shipped once production or restocking is completed.
Approximate availability dates are displayed on the product page.

Sold-Out Items

Products marked “Sold Out” are currently unavailable and no availability date is guaranteed.


4. Delivery Times

Delivery times begin after dispatch.

  • European Union: 5–8 working days from shipping date

  • USA & Canada: typically 3–7 working days from shipping date

Delivery times are estimates provided by carriers. Delays may occur due to freight logistics, customs clearance, or carrier scheduling.


5. Freight Delivery Conditions

All desks are shipped via freight door-to-door service.

Carriers are required to deliver goods to the delivery address and as close as possible to the building entrance.
They are not obligated to carry goods into apartments, garages, or interior spaces.

USA Freight Partner

All desk parcels in the USA are delivered in collaboration with TForce.
By placing an order, you agree to the shipper policy:

“Residential deliveries are made to the curb or garage, if accessible. The carrier cannot assume responsibility beyond this point due to the risk of damage.”


6. Warehousing & Regional Shipping

United States

Orders to the USA are shipped from the Reading, Pennsylvania warehouse when stock is available.

Customers located near Reading, PA may opt for self-pickup from our logistics partner:

Self-pickup orders receive a 5% discount, applied automatically at checkout.


Canada

Shipping to Canada may be organized from either the USA or EU warehouse at a flat rate shown at checkout, including door-to-door delivery, customs clearance, and applicable taxes.


Rest of the World

Orders outside the EU, USA, and Canada are shipped from our Slovenian warehouse using DHL Airfreight with tracking or ocean freight in a collected container. 

  • Dispatch: 2–3 business days (in-stock items)

  • Transit time Airfreight: 3–4 business days 

  • Transit time Ocean freight: 20 - 45 business days. 
  • Customs clearance may cause delays

7. Packaging & Assembly

Products are shipped unassembled, packed in carton boxes and placed on pallets for maximum protection.

Customers are responsible for the disposal of packaging materials.


8. Customs & Import Information

For items shipped from the EU to the USA or Canada, customs procedures apply.

  • Flat-rate EU → USA/Canada shipping (when applicable): €490, including door-to-door delivery, customs clearance, fees, and local taxes.

9. Transport Damage, Inspection & Insurance Claims

IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Upon delivery, customers must visually inspect the shipment before signing.

If the crate or carton shows visible damage or is torn, the customer should:

  • visually inspect accessible parts of the shipment where reasonably possible, before deciding to accept or refuse delivery

Refusal Due to Transport Damage

If, after inspection, there is clear evidence that the goods or parts are damaged, the customer must:

  • take clear photos

  • refuse the shipment immediately

In this case:

  • the shipment is returned to StudioDesk

  • no restocking fee will be applied

  • replacement parts or a replacement product will be arranged at no cost to the customer

Accepted Deliveries

Once delivery is accepted and signed for, the shipment is considered delivered in good condition, and transport insurance claims are no longer possible.

If damage is discovered after acceptance, StudioDesk cannot submit transport damage claims.


10. Refused or Undeliverable Shipments (Customer-Caused)

If a shipment is refused without transport damage, not accepted, or returned due to customer action (including incorrect address or unavailability):

  • a 25% restocking fee applies

  • all outbound and return shipping costs are non-refundable

  • additional logistics, storage, or handling costs may be deducted


11. Free Shipping & Refused Deliveries

Where shipping has been offered free of charge, the actual shipping and handling costs are fully covered by StudioDesk at the time of dispatch.

If a shipment is refused, undeliverable, or returned due to customer action, including but not limited to refusal without transport damage, failure to accept delivery, or incorrect delivery information:

  • the actual outbound and return shipping costs incurred by StudioDesk will be deducted from any refund

  • a 25% restocking fee will apply

  • any additional logistics, storage, or handling costs may be deducted

Free shipping applies only to successfully completed deliveries and does not cover refused or undeliverable shipments.

This provision does not apply where delivery is refused due to verified transport damage.


12. Klarna Shipping Conditions

Due to Klarna regulatory requirements, Klarna payment is available only for products that can be dispatched within 14 days from order confirmation.

The following products are not eligible for Klarna payment:

  • pre-order products

  • custom or made-to-order products

  • products with extended production timelines

For Klarna-eligible orders:

  • dispatch occurs within 14 days

  • shipping, cancellations, and refunds follow Klarna’s mandatory consumer protection rules, as described in the Return & Refund Policy

Where Klarna rules apply, they override Sections 10 and 11, as required by law.


13. Delivery Delays Disclaimer

Goods are shipped via freight services. Freight delivery cannot be compared to express courier services, and delays may occur.

Customers are advised not to dismantle existing furniture or studio setups until delivery has been scheduled and confirmed. 

StudioDesk is responsible for delivering goods in perfect condition or replacing damaged or missing parts.
StudioDesk is not responsible for indirect losses caused by delivery delays.
