Ørjan Nilsen is a Norwegian DJ and producer who has established himself as one of the leading names in modern trance and electronic music. Born in Kirkenes, Norway, Ørjan began releasing music in the mid-2000s and quickly developed a strong connection with Armada Music, becoming known for his melodic, energetic and groove-driven productions.
His breakthrough releases include “La Guitarra,” “Lovers Lane,” “So Long Radio,” “Belter” with Armin van Buuren and “Iconic.” His debut album In My Opinion was released in 2011, followed by No Saint Out of Me, Prism and The Devil Is in the Detail. In 2012, he reached No. 32 in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs and was nominated for Breakthrough DJ at the International Dance Music Awards.
Ørjan has performed at major clubs and festivals around the world and has collaborated with artists including Armin van Buuren, Cosmic Gate, Mark Sixma and KhoMha. He has also become known for his work as a producer and educator, sharing his production techniques through Armada's educational platform.
Today, Ørjan continues to release music and perform internationally. He also performs alongside Mark Sixma as nilsix, bringing together two established names from the electronic music scene.
