James Hype

James Hype is a British DJ and record producer from the Wirral, known for his highly technical, fast-paced DJ performances, live edits, mashups, looping and rapid mixing. He became internationally known with “More Than Friends” (2017) featuring Kelli-Leigh, which reached #8 in the UK and achieved Platinum certification.

His biggest breakthrough came with “Ferrari” (2022) featuring Miggy Dela Rosa. The track reached #1 in Belgium, the Netherlands and Italy, entered the UK Top 10, achieved multi-platinum certifications and has surpassed 2 billion streams according to Tomorrowland Academy.

He has performed at major festivals and clubs including Tomorrowland, EDC, Ushuaïa Ibiza, Hï Ibiza, The Brooklyn Mirage, Club Space Miami and others. In 2025, DJ Mag ranked him #52 in the Top 100 DJs.

James Hype also founded Stereohype, his own record label and creative platform focused on club music and supporting emerging artists. He currently continues to tour internationally and holds a residency at Hï Ibiza, while also producing music and creating DJ/production education content.
